HOMEBOUND SERVICES & CHRONIC MEDICAL ILLNESSES
Regular school attendance is crucial to academic success.
Nothing can replace time lost in the classroom with the teacher.
Unfortunately, sometimes serious illnesses or accidents can occur.
If a student will be absent with a serious illness or injury beyond a three week period, Homebound Services may be appropriate to ensure their academic progress is maintained.
Homebound Services are a process and requires paperwork to be completed by several entities.
If you are considering Homebound Services or are in need of additional information, please download and print the attached Homebound Packet.
If a student has a chronic medical illness, they may find it occasionally necessary to miss school related to that illness. Please meet with your health care provider to review the Chronic Medical Illness form and to develop a plan to ensure regular school attendance.
